Mononoke

Last Updated: Jul 02, 2011

10.00 (excellent) The first time I've ever saw Mononoke was when I watch Ayakashi aired in TV few years ago.
I think it's also one of the best anime ever made and it deserve more episode (yeah, I'm greedy.). I have no problem with the artwork, cause for me, it's full of creativity and mysteriousness and it suited the story. Great presentation, in short.
Highly recommended!

10.00 (excellent) Seriously, one of the 'dark type' anime that I really love.
It's portrayed the dark side of humanity and options available when we 're facing the toughest time in life.

10.00 (excellent) I think it's one of the best anime I've ever came across with. As always, reincarnation story is very interesting! And it also got awesome OST!
A must watch anime if you're a fan of mecha!

10.00 (excellent) Classic anime.
One of Watsuki Nobuhiro's masterpiece.
I love the humane element he placed in the anime! It was a bit violent but it didn't affect the humor and the romance between some of the characters in the story.
Perfect for the Samurai-lovers!

Basilisk

10.00 (excellent) Beauty can be deadly.
Basilisk is one of my favourite anime!
Not only it got awesome characters(only some weren't that cool) but the story was very interesting and great!
I'm not really a fan for the ending thou, it's heart-breaking. For once, I wish for a happy ending in an anime such as this.
But, it got high dose of violence and explicit nudity (the manga is worse. The nudity etc I mean.), and the only sane thing is Oboro and Gennosuke's feeling for each other.
But I still like it thou, this anime inspired me to draw a manga about ..something..and believe it or not, I draw more than 200 pages. xD But I stop for awhile, cause the story aren't so strong and I need to redo t. :B

10.00 (excellent) Who said futuristic anime can be boring?? Not for this anime, thou. :D
I think the plot is great and they have great characters. You won't find much humour in this anime thou, but I assure you it's one of the best! You will find there is no need for humour in Ghost in the Shell.

10.00 (excellent) Definitely Osamu Tezuka's masterpiece!
I first came across this series in Animax, the OVA one, and I LOVE IT. I know, the graphic wasn't that cool or awesome, but this anime proves that great plot exceed everything by far.

10.00 (excellent) I was surprised when some people didn't even know Otogi Zoushi!
I saw the anime on Animax in 2008 and I have to say I felt in love with it at the first sight.
The historical, and reincarnation element in this story are the things that attract me, and don't judge the anime by the graphic, the plot is awesome!

Cowboy Bebop

10.00 (excellent) Now I have to admit, the title kinda make me wanna stay away from this anime, cause it sounds silly and make me think 'Oh boy, here we go again.'. That's when I first saw it on sale in anime magazine (Malaysian).
And few years ago, it's on air, on Animaxx. The trailer looks cool so I decided to give it a try.
And heck, it's became one of my favourite anime.
It's very cool and funny and it's all about Bounty Hunters, with Space ship. xD

10.00 (excellent) *thumbs up*
Witness the dark side of human's hope and desire in this anime. One of the great anime I've ever seen.
I have wondered how the heck did the mangaka find something to joke about in time of seriousness in this series. xD
I got nothing to complain on this series. :D

Black Cat

10.00 (excellent) "Oh..cool"
My first impression, not long after that.
"Waahahah!! What the..?? xD"
Most people thought Black Cat as a serious and a 'hardcore Kill Kill Die Die" anime, but it's not, it's really funny and unexpected story.
In the midst of seriousness, there will a joke in most of the scene in this anime. Which is good, we can't have too much seriousness or we'll end up being in a depressed mode. xD
And also, the OST are something worth to listen. :D

10.00 (excellent) Well, to be honest I didn't know what to expect when I saw the titles 'Gunsliger Girl'. It looks cool to me, so I give it a try.
The anime went very smoothly and even if there's action scene, it all seems so graceful and slow to me. But no, I'm not saying that it's not good, it's cool for me. :D
Very sweet(?) anime? Not really sure, but what do you expect me to say about a little hitman girl??

10.00 (excellent) It got too many characters for me to remember. xD
A bit confusing for me cause of the time/year difference for every scene.
But I like it, cause the fighting scene is awesome and even thou it got too many characters, all of them are quite memorable and awesome. xD

10.00 (excellent) I love this show.
It's entertaining and I can get all the laugh I need. I can never understand the villains thou, his idea corrupted his mind and therefore he's a hate-able being.
But, I love it and it's one of the best series I've ever encounter!

10.00 (excellent) Cute story! :D I watched this series like 9 years ago and I remember how I liked the 'chemistry' between Ahiru and Fakir.
And I can't believe the series ended like that! *doesn't want to give out spoiler* D<

10.00 (excellent) Guh, too bad I didn't own DVD for this anime.
Definitely a great anime for everyone and for cat-lovers.
I first came across this anime is when I bought anime magazine and there's a review about this anime. I didn't give it much thought at that time. But last year, I thought why not give it a try? Since I have all the time in the world for anime and I really need to refresh my 'anime-list'. xD
The graphic is simple but beautiful, (simplicity is good!) and the story was very heart-warming and funny. Even thou Baron is a cat, he definitely sounds and looks cool. :O
Highly recommended!

Last Updated: Apr 12, 2011

10.00 (excellent) Hey, don't just watch the anime, find the manga, read it cause you'll definitely have more Gokusen than you'll have in the anime.
Sure, I watch the anime first before I decided to read the manga, and I totally love it. xD
It's a TeacherXStudent story, but it's unlike any TxS story, cause it's focused more on the teen's dilemma and fights. Awesome series and highly recommended, if you're a Plot-Over-Graphic person that is.

Haha~ I haven't seen all the episode, but worry not, I'm planning on watching it.
I encountered this series first by its manga, and I couldn't get enough of it. But then OneManga is no longer operating and Gintama was licensed. D:
*planning on tracking the manga down*

Last Updated: Apr 12, 2011

9.50 (excellent) Well, for me, the story was good!
Sure it'll cause some of the watchers to gets pretty uncomfortable, but I think this series needs more love.
Call me weird, but what made me love this series, is the characters, strong willed Michel and easy-going Cleo, their relationship somehow made this anime interesting. As for Vetti, the weird, irritating guy with hobbies of cross-dressing...hmm..I honestly couldn't think of any way to explain my opinion about him.
The ending was kinda a let-down and it made you go 'tch, what a shame'.
Word of advice, prepare yourself for any possibility in this anime.

But still, like I've said before, it's a magnificent story, very captivating, from the very first second you watch.

9.25 (very good) Well, anime about sport are usually awesome, and that includes this anime. Thou the main character wouldn't make such a big appeal to male viewers. xD
Every time Mihashi's Team playing against other school, they looks as if they're going to lose and that makes me nervous. It also had humour and moral value so it's highly recommended for everyone. :D

9.00 (very good) Oh, the wonder of innocent heroine.
I kinda dislike weak looking heroine sometimes and for some reason I didn't harbour the same feeling for Tohru. Cause her tenderness and weak appearance really suited this series and she kinda fill the gap in the Sohma's family members. For me, they have seen only darkness and Tohru seems like a refreshing air and she adds sweetness in their life. xD
I honestly didn't expect she ended up with him, until I saw a certain chapter in the series.
Lovely and sweet anime. :D
